The drought crisis in the last few years has caused the ground water to decrease.
Iran is one of the countries that has the most hot and dry climate due to its geographical distribution.

According to the hot climate of Hormozgan province and only 2 to 3 months of spring weather, water supply for the underground reserves of the region does not take place.
This has caused the drinking water behind the dams and many underground water sources to decrease. With the increase in global heat this year, Hormozgan witnessed a lot of water shortage that not only the people living in the city and villages but also the environment was thirsty.

In the meantime, many people’s groups came to the aid of their compatriots and reduced the shortage by donating water tanks to the villages of deprived areas.

The solution to reduce water shortage in villages:

The decrease in annual rainfall and the reduction of underground water sources due to the high use of wells, and on the other hand, the disorderly situation of water supply and worn-out pipelines to rural and deprived areas are the reasons that the problem of water shortage has doubled.
With the support of people’s donations, the Ehsan Zendegi campaign has succeeded in providing drinking water equipment, including the donation of Hormozberke water tanks and mobile water supply to 43 water-scarce and disadvantaged villages in Hormozgan province.

The representative of Wali Faqih in Hormozgan province, emphasizing the issue of water supply as an important task of the religious government, considered this issue as one of the important pillars of the country and said:
Considering the climatic conditions and the limited water resources of the province, ABFA’s actions in the sector of water supply to cities and villages are commendable despite the severe water shortage conditions.

Hojat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimeen Mohammad Ebadizadeh added: With the planned arrangements and the development of water desalination plants by Hormozgan Waterworks, despite the unprecedented drought, we have faced fewer challenges than other provinces.
